In the early sixties Alan Green and John Law realized their dream: to make living in a surfers’ paradise, and to ride the best waves. In 1970 they started a company based in Australia and Quiksilver began selling modern shorts for surfers. Six years later they migrated their products to the United States and in 1995 to Europe. After the coastal waves, the company decided to conquer the mountain slopes, and in 1986, their first ever collection of clothing for snowboarding was introduced. Four years later, Quiksilver added the women’s line, Roxy.
